LED driver为电流源,因此有一可输出的电压范围及一固定的输出电流。在LED driver的测试上,一般常使用的方式有下列几种:

| 由LED的V-I特性曲线中,可知LED有一顺向偏压VF及一导通电阻(Rd)。当以真实电阻为负载,其V-I特型是一直线,并无法模拟LED的特性。尤其当LED driver开机电压上升时,电流波形不同,可能会无法开机。而传统电子负载的CR及CV模式,都是以稳态时的LED操作点为设定值,对开关机或PWM调光动态的特性,无法模拟,也可能导致LED driver产生不正常的动作或保护。而若以LED来当负载,虽能*测试LED driver。但却有LED老化问题,及LED driver不同的输出电压测试上,需串联不同颗数的LED,如此将会造成测试上与生产上的不便。 |
致茂6310A series电子负载中的63110A新创了一个新的操作模式—LED模式,来模拟LED。使用者仅需透过设定LED driver的输出电压、电流,即可模拟LED的拉载特性。还可设定LED的操作点阻抗及高频阻抗,让拉载电流及高频连波与更趋近于真实LED。对于PWM调光(Dimming)测试,63110A的全新设计中,亦增加了频宽,让使用者亦可透过电子负载完成动态调光测试。
图2是以LED为负载所拉载的电流波形(蓝色);图3为63110ALED 模式的拉载电流波形(蓝色) ;由图2与图3可观察到两者于LED driver于开机时的拉载电压电流波形非常相似。图4为测LED为负载在调光(Dimming)时的电流波形。图5为63110A为负载在调光(Dimming)时的电流波形。
LED driver的输出涟波电流可以透过调整63110A内部电阻 (Rr) 来模拟。传统电子负载无法模拟LED driver的输出涟波电流,如图6所示。图7为LED当负载时的涟波电流。图8为63110A当负载时的涟波电流。
图9是以真实电阻为负载的拉载电流波形(蓝色);图10为定电阻模式模拟真实电阻的拉载电流波形(蓝色);图9与图10的电流与LED为负载的电流波形有相当大差异,且电流及电压都有过冲的情况发生,易导致LED driver在开机时发生过电压或过电流保护,如图11所示。因此不管是真实电阻或是电子负载的定电阻模式,都比较无法模拟真实的情况。
